Welcome to Summit Youth Sports, a fast growing competitive girl’s basketball club that can prepare your daughter for the next level of play. A Family First atmosphere is what you can expect from Summit Youth Sports. Our enthusiastic coaching staff is dedicated to excellence and encouraging your child’s growth and development through a positive athletic experience.

Founded by a basketball family in the summer of 2007, Tim & Leslie Shaffer have seven children of their own. Beginning his 16th year of coaching girl’s basketball, Tim Shaffer has a rich basketball heritage spanning Ohio, Kentucky, California, and Colorado. Shaffer is also a certified referee. Combining his understanding of the game and coaching passion he produces a unique learning atmosphere where young players can develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed at the high school level.

Currently, the Summit “Hilltoppers” are organizing teams 4th – 8th grade. As the players mature high school levels will be added next season.
